Packing Materials

  • Book carton (15 x 18 ½ x 12 ¼ inches): Books, records, papers, small heavy items.
  • Medium carton (19 x 19 x 19 inches): Ornaments, kitchen pots and pans, shoes, tools, overall utility carton.
  • Large carton (19 x 19 x 30 inches): Bedding, cushions, towels, overall utility carton.
  • Small carton (21 x 15 x 14 ½ inches): China, glass ornaments.
  • Laydown (flat) wardrobe (36 x 20 x 9 inches): For clothes which can be folded or clothes for a limited space air shipment.
  • Upright wardrobe (22 x 22 x 40 inches): Hanging clothes, drapes.
  • Newsprint paper: Crumpled in carton as cushioning. For wrapping all breakables.
  • Tissue paper: For prewrapping of fine china or crystal and other valuable and delicate items.
  • Wax or glycerine paper: To protect surface of French polished table tops or similar fine furniture surfaces and as a non-stick first cover over paintings.
  • Hard cardboard sheets/Fibre Board: For protecting high quality/fine surface such as dining table tops over wax or glycerine paper.
  • Rolls of corrugated paper: For outer wrapping all furniture and for single wrap of garden tools and other large items that must be wrapped to avoid contact with furniture etc.
  • Bubble wrap: As additional wrapping for such fragile tech items such as radios, television sets, computers, etc.
  • Waterproof plastic sheet: For lining inside walls and exterior roof of liftvans (not the floor).
  • Parts carton: For packing all disassembled hardware, screws, nuts, bolts, etc. television and stereo remote controls.
